The magnetostrictive transducer operates without physical contact, using a magnetic field to determine the piston position. This technology eliminates mechanical wear and ensures long service life of the measuring system. The transducer provides an analogue output signal in current or voltage, or a digital signal in SSI, CANbus, DeviceNET, Profibus, EtherCAT®, EtherNet/IP™, PROFINET, or POWERLINK.

Conforti hydraulic servo-cylinders are designed for applications requiring high precision in position control. The transducer continuously provides an absolute position signal, with no need for homing at power-up, and with very high resolution. The delicate external parts of the transducer are protected by a removable steel cover, ensuring protection against accidental impacts during transport, installation and operation. Thanks to the integrated CETOP plates, ISO 4410 valves and servo-valves can be mounted directly on the cylinder body, reducing the oil volume between the valve and the actuator and facilitating closed-loop position control.
