Privacy policy pursuant to Articles 13 and 14 of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR) and Legislative Decree No. 196/2003 as amended by Legislative Decree No. 101/2018.
Data Controller and Scope of Application
The Data Controller is Conforti Oleodinamica S.r.l. – Via Boccioni, 10 – 20900 Monza (MB). This policy describes how personal data of users visiting the website www.confortinet.com (hereinafter "Website") is processed. This policy does not apply to third-party websites that may be accessed via links on the Website.
Data processing
Browsing Data
The computer systems and software procedures used to operate the Website collect, during normal operation, certain personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. This information is not collected for the purpose of being associated with identified data subjects, but by its very nature could allow users to be identified. This category includes: IP addresses, domain names of computers used, URI addresses of requested resources, time of request, request method, size of the file received in response, server status code, and other parameters relating to the user's operating system and computing environment.
Purpose: monitoring the correct functioning of the Website and IT security.
Legal basis: legitimate interest of the Data Controller (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).
Retention period: logs are retained for 30 days; in cases of technical or security necessity, up to 90 days.
Data voluntarily provided by the user
Through the contact forms on the Website, users may voluntarily submit personal data (first name, last name, e-mail address, company, telephone number and other data indicated in the forms) in order to request information, technical assistance, documentation or other services.
Purpose: responding to user requests; sending requested documentation; managing pre-contractual or contractual relationships.
Legal basis: performance of pre-contractual or contractual measures at the request of the data subject (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR); consent of the data subject for any commercial communications (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR).
Retention period: data is retained for no longer than 24 months from collection, unless legal obligations or ongoing litigation require otherwise.

Users who register for the Website's reserved area provide identification data (first name, last name, e-mail, company) necessary for account management and access to reserved services (e.g. CAD model downloads, PRISMA configurator).
Purpose: user account management; access to reserved services; sending technical communications related to the services.
Legal basis: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR).
Retention period: for the duration of the account and for 12 months following account deactivation, unless legal obligations require otherwise.
Optional Nature of Data Provision
Apart from what is specified for browsing data, the user is free to provide the personal data contained in any request forms published on the Website or indicated in messages sent to request information or other communications. Failure to provide such data may result in the inability to fulfil the request.
Methods of Processing
Personal data is processed by automated means, in accordance with the principles of lawfulness, fairness, transparency, data minimisation and integrity set out in the GDPR. Appropriate technical and organisational measures are adopted to ensure a level of security proportionate to the risk, in accordance with Art. 32 GDPR.
Data is not disclosed or transferred to third parties for their own commercial purposes.

As a data subject, you have the right to exercise the following rights against the Data Controller at any time:
Right of access (Art. 15 GDPR): obtain confirmation as to whether personal data concerning you is being processed and, if so, access to that data and related processing information.

Right to withdraw consent (Art. 7(3) GDPR): withdraw consent at any time, without affecting the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.
Right to lodge a complaint (Art. 77 GDPR): lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority. In Italy: Garante per la protezione dei dati personali – www.garanteprivacy.it.
